Anna and Elu

Lessons are offered one-to-one on our well-trained school horses, ensuring focused, personalised instruction. Alternatively, riders are welcome to bring their own horses for sessions designed to address specific challenges or training objectives. From learning how to properly mount and steer to developing smooth transitions between the walk, jog, and lope, our lessons support both recreational riders and those pursuing more advanced Western disciplines.

We also warmly welcome English riders experiencing behavioural or training challenges with their horses. Many common issues—such as resistance, anxiety, lack of softness, or ground manners—can be effectively addressed using time-tested Western horsemanship methods that focus on clarity, consistency, and communication. Whether you’re dealing with problems under saddle or on the ground, we offer one-on-one guidance to help you better understand your horse’s behaviour and develop practical strategies for lasting improvement. This approach blends seamlessly with any riding discipline and can lead to a more responsive, willing, and confident partner—no matter what saddle you ride in.

Lessons are €50 per hour and are available to adults only.

Horse Help

Horse and rider

In addition to riding lessons, we offer specialised troubleshooting sessions for horses displaying behavioural issues—on the ground or under saddle. Drawing on the principles of respected horsemen such as Buck Brannaman, Ray Hunt, and Paul Dietz, this work focuses on understanding the horse’s mental and emotional state, helping them become more relaxed, responsive, and willing. Whether your horse struggles with fear, pushiness, loading, leading, saddling, or general resistance, these sessions are designed to uncover the root of the problem and offer practical, respectful solutions. If you’d like to enquire about having me visit your stables to assess your horse’s behaviour and see how I might help, please get in touch using the contact form.

We look forward to helping you and your horse develop a stronger, more enjoyable partnership.
