Livery

Full livery and short-term stays are available at our peaceful, family-run yard, located just 4 miles from Waterford City Centre. Horses are stabled in our beautifully built American-style timber barn, where we offer a highly personalised service with a strong focus on each horse’s individual wellbeing and happiness.

Our 10 spacious stables (each 12ft x 12ft) are bright, warm, and sheltered, providing dry access and comfort year-round. Every stable includes a front talk rail, exterior-facing window, automatic water drinkers, and rubber matting for safety and ease of care. The barn also features a wash bay, secure tack and feed rooms, and a large hay store to support daily routines.

Horses enjoy year-round turnout in secure, individual paddocks enclosed with HorseRail Ireland’s electrified fencing—safe, durable, and horse-friendly.

We deliberately limit our number of liveries to ensure a calm, relaxed environment for both horse and rider. Our yard is ideal for leisure riders or those simply looking for a low-pressure, friendly place to enjoy their horse—with full confidence that their welfare is always a top priority.

Events

At Blenheim Stud, we regularly host a variety of special training events and clinics, featuring international trainers and respected horsemen from across Ireland. These events offer unique opportunities for riders and horse owners to expand their skills and deepen their understanding of horsemanship. Past offerings have included foundational Western Horsemanship clinics, beginner-friendly Side Saddle classes, and Equine Massage workshops for horse owners—all designed to be educational, inclusive, and practical.

Lessons

Western riding is a style of horseback riding rooted in the traditions of ranch work and cattle handling, known for its relaxed, secure seat and practical approach to horsemanship. Our lessons focus on building a solid foundation in balance, control, and effective communication with your horse using rein, seat, and leg cues. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to fine-tune your skills, each session is tailored to your experience and goals, with an emphasis on safety, confidence, and enjoyment. Riders can choose to learn on our well-trained school horses or bring their own horses to work through specific challenges or training goals. From learning how to properly mount and steer to developing smooth transitions between the walk, jog, and lope, our lessons are designed to support both recreational riders and those pursuing more advanced western disciplines.
